CRISTIANA MARIANI LANDS IN NEW YORK WITH HER JEWELS

The creations of the designer from Foligno are on display in Domenico Vacca’s exclusive atelier in the Big Apple. “In the United States I will bring a piece of my land, Umbria”

There is the green of the hills and the blue of the sky. There are roses, anemones and cyclamen. There are the colors and shapes of Umbria. There is all this in the jewelry collections that Cristiana Mariani created for the first exhibition of her creations in New York.
The designer from Foligno has in fact landed in the United States, bringing – as she herself says – “a piece of my Umbria”. Of his land, which for some years now inspires his jewels. Jewels that are on display from 20 November until the first days of January in the exclusive atelier of the stylist of Hollywood stars, Domenico Vacca. There between Fifth Avenue and 55th Street, Cristiana Mariani presented her new collection. “It is an exhibition – he explains a few weeks after departure – that wants to put together and tell what I have done in all these years. And thanks to Domenico and his partner, Eleonora Pieroni, I will have the opportunity to tell myself in an important reality like New York, where jewelry from all over the world comes and where it is possible to find the most prestigious collections. Looking out into New York ‘well’ – he continues – is a great opportunity, but above all it is a great stimulus. ” In the showcase rings, necklaces and earrings made with cameos mounted on pearls and corals, revised in a modern key but always an expression of Italian history. And then the diamonds, present in all the jewels that will be exhibited in the Big Apple. “There will be no classic sets – anticipates Cristiana Mariani – but many pieces of a story, mine. Just as there will be no real inauguration. My jewels and the hosts will talk about me. I will only stay there for a few days, then I will go home, leaving my creations in their hands. I know how much beauty and Italianness count for Domenico and Eleonora, who are true ambassadors of the ‘made in Italy’ quality, that quality that has made our country great in the world. That’s why I decided to rely on them. ” In New York Cristiana Mariani tells a different story from the one she writes for her Foligno shop window every day.
